The rap game has afforded T.I. an opportunity to try his hand at becoming an author, actor and entrepreneur, among other things. And now, the Atlanta rapper reveals his latest and possibly most unusual hobby yet, gardening.

The Kang reached out to CNN’s Sanjay Gupta MD to get the basics on how to create a home garden, and the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle in your household. With some help from Taja Sevelle of Urban Farming, T.I. and his children learn how to plant and take care of a winter garden.

“If you’re a family that wants to cut down on your monthly bills, and you want to eat right and teach your kids about healthy eating so they can grow up very strong and healthy, then you can plant your own garden,” said Sevelle prior to spreading he wisdom to Tip and Co.

From there, they all got their hands dirty planting lettuce, arugula, and carrots while learning gardening tips and concepts like companion planting and more.

Historically, we know T.I. doesn’t do anything on a small scale. With that said, could the “Trap Back” creator be the first MC to enter the horticulture game? That would be the real family hustle.
