Hip-Hop Wired is expanding out social media reach and last week we started with our first ever #Twitterview with model, Vanessa Veasley.

Veasley got her break when she met Bryan Barber on the set of the movie Drumline where she was an extra. The famed video diretor referred her to a casting agency and the following week she booked her first two music videos, “Trans DF Express” and “Welcome to Atlanta.”

After appearing in a ton of music videos and gracing the pages of  Lowrider Girls, KING, XXL, Source, SHOW, Smooth, Smooth Girl, Hip-Hop Weekly, Urban Ink, SHOWCase, and more. She shook up the internet in 2010 when she had a controversial photo shoot for Terry Richardson and the Supreme fall look book involving a tiny tee-shirt and a strategically placed football.

She’s worked with plenty of brands in the past couple of years including DGK, Supreme, Karmaloop, Two In The Shirt and more while running Planet BLERD, a blog dedicated to her unabashed nerdisms.

She’s very much into science fiction, comic books, anime, art and more and is a die hard span of all thing Philly sports. If you missed our twitterview with Vanessa last week, you can check out everything you missed down below.

Check back next week and follow us at Twitter.com/HipHopWired for more #Twitterviews.
