There’s a strong possibility that you haven’t been wondering how a Wyclef Jean/2 Chainz collaboration will sound but (like it or not) you’re about to find out.
According to HipHopDX, Jean is set to release his April Showers mixtape this spring, and has grabbed the likes of T*ty 2 Necklace, T.I. Waka Flocka Flame, and more pairings, for the project.
After dropping the track “Hip Hop” the longtime hitmaker, and former Fugees leader, had to give the world what it’s been missing. “The reaction I’ve been getting from the song ‘Hip Hop’ has made me realize just how badly the fans want music that can evoke certain types of emotion,” Jean explained. “With April Showers, I am going to show you where I feel the evolution and future or music is going. From this body of work you can expect a futuristic sonic eclectic sound.”
During his music hiatus, Jean released the autobiography, Purpose: An Immigrants Story, where he aired out alleged details of his non-professional relationship with Lauryn Hill.
His other interesting decision in the year 2012 was posing partly-oiled up in man panties while straddling a Ducatti.
