When it comes to his love for big butts, Charles Mainor just can’t hide his adoration. The New Jersey politician has come under fire for liking a “Big Bootie Freaks” page on Facebook, and is now explaining his preoccupation with ample backsides.

Mainor, a state assemblyman in Jersey City, is varied in the pages that he supports, including “You Got Knocked The Fck Out Man,” and “Practical Living Ministries.” Questions behind the appropriateness of his interests were raised, especially since one of the pages glorifies violence.

But fear not, Mainor has denied that he’s even looked at any of the five pages called into question. “I doubt very strongly that I would do something like that,” he said. “I don’t do Facebook.” He backed off the site after making disparaging comments last year, during a New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers game. In the post, Mainor praised the Giants making sure to distance the team from the Philadelphia Eagles, or “those gay birds,” as he called them.

He eventually admitted to liking the “You Got Knocked The Fck Out Man” page, but made it clear that his firm anti-gun stance is why people are all up in the business of his Facebook page. “They’re trying to discredit me in some kind of way because I agreed with gun deals that I pushed through. We’re losing babies, and if the best they can do is come back and say ‘He shouldn’t have Big Bootie Freaks,’ then I said ‘Hey you shouldn’t have guns.’”

Also, Mainor planned to “un-like” the page as soon as his daughter showed him how to do so, because again, he knows nothing about Facebook. “As far as the ‘Big Bootie Freaks’—listen, I love women, but it shouldn’t be on there but I don’t know how to get it out.”

Sure.
