How about Penning an open letter to Carolyn Bryant - you know , the person most responsible for Emmet Till being murdered in the first place?
The Till family has already called that trash out. That is how we all know that infamous name.
The family never called her out or spoke ill of her or even asked for an apology - which is understandable given the time period and location. They just wanted justice - which they never got.
Shouldn't that deserve more outrage and attention than an entertainer that has no real relevance or power in the grand scheme of society ? Or are white women still above public scrutiny ?
There actually was a Dateline special where she was confronted and she wouldn't even talk about it. Who's to say they didn't write a letter or address them already and it just didn't get acknowledged.
She ruined this whoolllllle thing in the end when she started asking for money. D*mn. Why is every problem solved by donating to a trust fund? smh. #lostrespect
I kind of feel the same way. Now Wayne can use that to say she was just trying to get money out of him. She should've just asked for and apology and he could've made the donation on his own, although that's unlikely. Wayne taking responsibility is more important in my opinion than him giving them money.
i didnt read any part where she asked for money. I did see her ask about wayne joining forces with her. His time and attention to the cause could be more valuable than money; with being said he should give time AND money seeing as how he tricks off $$$ on b.s any how. atleast this would be money to a worthy cause
I agree with you...after all he is using the name and legacy to MAKE money.
I'm sorry, maybe I missed it...but where is she asking for money?
Maybe I need to read it again?
That would be a good remedy for what he did to their family? Do you know who he was, and what really happened to him? Money would really help right a wrong.
She didn't ask for money at all. Get your facts in line before "losing respect" behind your own poor interpretation of what was actually a clear statement.
She did ask for money, She asked him to donate.
Ok so I'm trying to figure out how asking this man who INTENTIONALLY disrespected the memory of this CHILD that was viciously tortured, mutilated, beaten and to death to DONATE to the fund related to the memory of the child and his mother is an issue......
Forget the fact that the money is in no way shape or form for her but for the charity or the fact that she didnt even really ask for money at all SMMFH!!
she asked him to help educate children, didnt see the part asking for money
Lil wayne is an idiot with money to waste
What a powerful Message. I hope Lil Wayne gets it. She did not sk for oney, she sked him to join forces to educate people. Great mesage, Lil Wayne is silly.
So he can wear blinged out dre beats and spend money on diamonds for his mouth but god forbid he donates
To a charity. How absurd of her to ask.
Lil wayne is untalented and irresponsible. I would only ask for his apology. I would not want his name attatched to such an important foundation.
you would have thought that baby and slim older country dumb a would have known better but testament to a fact money dont mean you have a brain now does it?
OH AND BEFORE HE TRIES TO JOIN AND EDUCATE SOMEONE HE HAS TO BE EDUCATED FEEL ME AND YOU SHOULD BE MORE THEN EMBARRESSED HOWEVER IKNOW YOU ARE NOT BECAUSE THEY TAGHT YOU HOW TO LOVE THEY WEALTH AND HATE THYSELF
lil wayne is so ignorant.. I really hope someone puts him in his place, because he is out of control, with his wack lyrics.
ENOUGH ALREADY HE DID NOT MEAN TO DISRESPECT TILL . WHERE IS THE BLASTING AT THE WOMAN THAT HAD HER SON KILLED?
how did he not mean to be disrespectful? please explain
