Hip-Hop Wired presents a new game show with a hood twist, The Corner Store Challenge.

Anybody who has ever grown up in the hood knows how important it is to stretch the value of a dollar, and nothing stretches a dollar quite like a run to your local bodega.

The Corner Store Challenge goes as follows. Two contestants will each have 10 dollars. They will each have one minute to run through the corner store getting the most objects they can for under five dollars. Once the time is elapsed, the clerk will count up the items to see how many things each contestant got under five dollars.

If anyone gets more items over ten dollars they are automatically disqualified. A winner is determined by how many items one contestant can get while not over spending their budget of ten dollars.

The first contestant in The Corner Store Challenge will pit our resident corner store connoisseur, Gary, up against Noreaga aka P.A.P.I. of Lefrak City in Queens. N.O.R.E.‘s next album Student Of The Game will be in stores on April 16th. The album will feature appearances from Pusha T, 2 Chainz, French Montana, Pharrell and many more.
