Still snoozing on Detroit Hip-Hop by anyone not named Eminem? That’s unfortunate for you. That said, Black Milk takes us to church with a new double single; “Sunday’s Best / Monday’s Worst.”

The Motown rap double threat, he spits with the best and producers, is prepping a new album for the spring and this is its first offering.  The brooding “Sunday’s Best” lyrically recalls a trip to church service over a rumbling head nodder of a groove. “Monday’s Worst” sports wailing organs and soulful vocals slapped against slamming drums while the rhymes recount how the hood can turn a good kid bad, quickly.

Consider this a two for one special. Black Milk’s last album was the critically acclaimed Album of the Year back in 2010. So it’s about time he made his official return.

Listen to Black Milk’s “Sunday’s Best / Monday’s Worst” below. If the spirit moves you, you can cop the song right here before it becomes available on iTunes March 19.
