The beef between former allies Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane has no signs of ending, considering the newly liberated rapper can’t avoid talking about the supposed split from 1017 Brick Squad camp. On the latest Combat Jack Show airing, Waka addressed the feud and is clearly ready to move on beyond it.

Say what you will about Waka Flocka, but the kid never bites his tongue for anyone. The former trap star turned rapper explains that his rise to fame was mostly incidental and unplanned. However, the most interesting portion of his interview with Combat Jack along with co-hosts Dallas Penn and Just Blaze was the Gucci Mane situation.

“I feel like nobody helped me do sh-t,” said Waka Flocka of the perception he was starting to shine brighter than his one-time mentor. “Not my momma, not Gucci. My first album, Gucci ain’t even on it, period. I put my all my music together, got all my producers. This sh-t Waka.”

“From my personal opinion, it gotta be jealousy, even or something,” added Waka over the strained relationship. “I don’t know, but I ain’t looking for no answers. Once you say it, it’s done. Then I heard his Twitter got hacked. I guess God hacked it.”

Waka Flocka checked what he called “street guys” for using social media, calling Twitter “too personal” at one point. Check out the full Combat Jack Show episode below.
