We’re not here to point fingers because “rap friends” are certainly not the only ones who are questionable, but this Justin Bieber situation is just getting out of hand.

The Biebs’ behavior reeks of such a need for acceptance that a classic “new kid on the block” syndrome has to be at play.

Try as he might, the one arena that the crooning Candadian has yet to fully infiltrate is that of the hip-hop community. Yeah, he jumped on a record with Kanye and Raekwon early on, and aimed to team with Jay-Z, but for the most part no matter how many rap features he snags it still seems like an odd match up. Bieber is very much a pop star, and as he said during his utterly amazing Billboard Milestone Award speech: “This is not a gimmick. I’m an artist and I should be taken seriously, and all this other bulls–t should not be spoken of.”

We feel the same way, but talking about the other stuff is funnier.

It’s all in good fun.
