Vali stopped through The Breakfast Club to let the world know what she is about. The dancer turned singer (as as well as actress) is signed to Rostrum Records (same label as Mac Miller) and is asserting herself in the music business.
The Hell’s Kitchen native isn’t a new jack, she sang hooks on some of Wiz Khalifa’s old mixtapes. Vali, her stage name is based on her middle name, Valentina, and if you’re wondering about her exotic looks; her mom is Russian while her dad (Carl Porter) is Black and Cherokee. She also went the famed Laguardia School for the Performing Arts.
