Myspace is pulling out all the stops after a complete overhaul of the former social media giant was announced by Justin Timberlake earlier this year. In a new high-energy promo ad aimed at beefing up interest features Pharrell, Mac Miller, Schoolboy Q, RiFF RAFF, Ciara, and plenty of others.

Titled “This Is Myspace,” the ad opens up with a rocked out band thrashing out some tunes in the back as Pharrell walks around on a sparse set. The party gets live when flashes of the celebrity guests appear in the shot and the formerly quiet space turns into the world’s wildest frat party. Complete with frantic dancing, random camera photo bombs, skateboarding, confetti, and a dizzying array of color, viewers will spend some time trying to identify all the cameos.

Iggy Azalea, Hit-Boy and newcomer Chance The Rapper all join in on the madness. The commercial has a lot going on, with shots flashing in and out of the in-house band wrecking their equipment on a small stage. There’s a bit of eye candy too, with video models gyrating and making out in quick scenes throughout.

Myspace may not be as crazy as this ad suggests, but it does the job of piquing curiosity well.
