If you were a diehard Slaughterhouse fan cringing at the Joe Budden struggle during this season of Love And Hip-Hop, then you’re being offered a worthy consolation.

The four-man rap group, also consisting of Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5’9″, stopped in to MTV’s RapFix Live to tell Sway Calloway that they’re launching a new reality battle rap show titled The Road to Total Slaughter. Its premise will pit eight MCs–Dizaster, Math Hoffa, Daylyt, Arsonal, Cortez, Marv Won, Big T and Aye Verb–into one house as they try to kill each other with the flow, opposed to their presence.

“Battle rap is the talk in every street and every barber shop,” said Joe Budden. “People are really engulfed and seem to be in tune with what these young brothers have to say in the lyrics they’re putting out there.”

Slaughterhouse will serve as judges and producers for the online reality show which will be posted onto Shady Record’s VEVO account.

The rappers involved have all made a name for themselves in their respective districts and when asked how they manage to get them to agree to the terms of the show, Joell Ortiz simply responded, “We’re Slaughterhouse!”

“It’s giving these guys a platform that they didn’t have before,” Royce chimed in. “Everybody knows they’re great if you follow them, so the goal is to put not only them, but battle rap itself, on this platform.”
