The actress appeared on Iyanla: Fix My Life, and detailed how she overcame drugs, a diagnosis of bipolar disorder and the death of her mother to get back on track.

There’s a reason Eminem named his 2010 album Recovery. The multiplatinum rapper overcame what he called a life-threatening prescription drug addiction.
Before he became one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actors, Samuel L. Jackson had to overcome addictions to both alcohol and crack cocaine.
Models are familiar with the term “heroin chic,” but as a recovering addict, Naomi Campbell says cocaine was her drug of choice.

In his memoir, Life and Def: Sex, Drugs, Money, + God, Russell Simmons joked that during the ‘80s he tried to snort half of South America.
