What a sad day for the gaming world.
Welp, E3 2023 has been put on ice...again.
Thursday (Jul.7), New York Comic-Con, PAX, and Star Wars Celebration organizers ReedPop in partnership with the ESA, have announced the return of E3.
No one should be surprised by this news, but E3 is dead, well, the 2022 edition of the convention that focuses strictly on video games.
No surprise, E3 is not holding an in-person event in 2022.
E3 is back, well, sort of.
Yesterday (Mar.11), the Entertainment Software Association announced it is canceling this year's E3 convention fearing the spread of the highly infectious disease. Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Nintendo each issue statements.
Just like last year, Sony will not be showing at the 2020 edition of the E3 conference the company has confirmed.
E3 2019 doesn’t officially begin until Sunday (Jun. 9), but that didn’t stop EA from kicking things off with its EA Play event. Serving as the unofficial kickoff to the annual video game convention, the company decided to show off some gameplay footage of Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and it looks very promising.
January 25, 2019 can’t get here soon enough. Resident Evil fans are salivating like the zombies that haunted the halls of the Spencer Mansion after getting the first glimpse of the remake of Resident Evil 2. Now we got actual gameplay footage showing the 20-year-old reimagined classic in action.
We are definitely still recuperating from Sony’s PlayStation showcase, but we definitely made time to see what Nintendo had to offer at this year’s E3 conference.
Sony’s PlayStation conference has become the highlight of E3 over the last couple of years and rightfully so. Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Bethesda all had decent showings, but if you ask those who watched Sony’s conference, PlayStation might have won this year’s E3 conference.
