As the president hits 50 today, we are sure that the White House will be jumping as Barack hits the milestone mark.
However, we know Obama can’t invite the true artists he wants to hear since he has to maintain an already assaulted image.
So if he could, which rappers do you think Obama would have rocking the mic at his celebration?
Peep the page #’s below to see our list and who we think Obeezy is down with!
In 2006 Obama met Ludacris in Chicago.
The rapper, who was there for the launch of the YouthAIDS campaign said his time with Obama was like meeting a relative.
While Obama may have not been to fond of Luda’s campaign song, we’re sure deep down inside he’s still cool with Luda.
If brushing his shoulder off during a debate with Hillary Clinton wasn’t a good enough indication that Obama was cool with the Jigga man, Obama also invited Jay-Z to chill with him at the White House.
Politics as usual…
Obama invited The Cool Kids to come out and rock the stage at his Change Rocks event in Chicago.
While the Cool Kids were still on their rise to stardom, it just shows you that Obama even knows about the underground Hip-Hop acts.
When Obama covered Rolling Stone Magazine, he listed old favorites like Stevie Wonder and John Coltrane.
However, he admitted that his personal aide, Reggie Love, helped him expand his rap tastes beyond Jay-Z and got him to listen to “a little Nas and a little Lil Wayne.”
Remember how we just told you that Obama invited Jay-Z to the White House to chill, well Trey Songz was there too.
Now we don’t know if Obama is a Trigga fan, but what him and Michelle do when the kids go to sleep is THEIR business.
Whether it’s chilling with him at the White House or chilling with him at the Inauguration, Beyonce and Obama are definitely homies.
Even though Obama has gotten J. Hud to sing at a couple of events, we are sure that he’s spent more time with Beyonce.
Although it’s not positive why Pharrell and Obama were chilling, Pharrell made sure to show off by taking some pictures with the Chief.
Who knows, maybe Obama is rocking some ice creams in his spare time.
Just like Lil Wayne, Nas was another named mentioned in the Rolling Stone feature when Obama was asked about his musical taste.
Although Michelle was the one who invited Common to the White House, Obama has met Common before.
Plus, after all that slack he caught for having Common at the House, never did he once say he regretted it.
Kanye
Days after Kanye West’s infamous outburst during MTV’s VMAs, CNBC was interviewing Obama when ABC News’ Terry Moran overheard Obama make an off-the-record comment and call Kanye a “jackass.”
Damn Yeezy…you are 0/2 with Presidents.
