Foxy Brown Talks Joint Album With Mary J. Blige

New York rapper Foxy Brown must have been sipping on the happy juice again.

According to reports, the Brooklyn rapper revealed that she has been working on a Watch The Throne style album with Queen Of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige.

Speaking on the collaborative album, Brown said:

“People don’t know, me and Mary J. Blige recorded five records for an album called ‘The Best of Both Girls,’ like Jay and R. Kelly did ‘The Best of Both Worlds.

“Mary’s like a big sister to me, and in the middle of recording those records, I lost all my hearing.”

Brown also stated the 2005 MJB song “Enough Cryin'” was intended to feature her, but Brown was unable to record the track.

“When you hear Mary in the video like, ‘You turned your back and back I came running, but the simple fact is that you ain’t want me,’ that was me,” Foxy explained.

“Mary had enough respect to say, ‘Listen, before I go get another rap Itchbay to do your part, I’ma call myself Brook-Lyn and I’ma learn your part and I’ma go in and rap it for you.'”

All of that sounds good, Foxy, but we’ll need to hear at least one of those five songs before any believes a things she says.

That album will probably never see the light of day.

Anyway Till The Album Drops, Peep Out Some Flicks Of “The Queen Of Hip-Hop Soul” and “The Brooklyn Don Diva.”
