Da Brat Interview
During the 2011 BET Hip-Hop Awards, Vlad TV caught up with Da Brat, who was attending her first awards show since her release from prison earlier this year.
During her interview, the veteran rapper talked about her support for T.I., Amber Rose’s body and unlike her counterpart, Lil Kim, Da Brat actually co-signed Nicki Minaj’s success.
“I think it’s great Nicki Minaj blew up,” Brat said. “Any female MC that do they thing, I support every last one of them.”
“I don’t have no beef. I don’t do that. I do my thing, break it down with everybody.
“I just chill and make music, and I wish every female MC would do the same thing. They really ain’t enough of us, if you ask me, for us to be doing what’s going on. I love everybody.”
If only Lil Kim would have given the same answer.
