Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross‘ new track “You The Boss” is making headlines now that Nicki’s confirmed it was originally written for Lil Wayne.
The rapper who personally penned the track, tells MTV that she had her own boss in mind before passing it on to Rozay years ago.
Speaking in character as the “female Weezy” (dreads and all) she says,
“Nicki originally did that song for Wayne two and a half years ago It was just lingering, and then she gave it to Rick Ross. I think it’s hot.”
In related news, Nicki was recently tapped by the American Music Awards to present their nominees alongside Pitbull.
The Young Money Barbie lost the dreadlocks and instead donned a blue and blonde wig to coordinate with her skirt and bandeau top.
