Robin Thicke On 106 & Park

During his promo run for Love After War, Robin Thicke took his charm to 106 & Park. The crooner was in high spirits as he spoke about his new album, which features the lead single of the same name and his Weezy assited “Pretty Lil’ Heart.”

“This album is about love, it’s about family, it’s about forgiveness and redemption, and it’s about the party,” said Thicke. “You gotta keep the party going when all that goes down.”

Thicke jokes that he “lost his manhood,” as he’s been taking care of his 8-month old son Julian while wifey Paula Patton is filming Mission Impossible 4. “I gotta get my swagger back,” he adds.

He also speaks on his legacy, and the timeless character of his music.

“I hope after I make 10, 20 albums, people will play my music 30 years from now and say white boy was putting it down right there,” he said. “I wanna be the white boy on BET for the rest of my life.”
