Beastie Boys Inducted Into Rock ‘N Roll Hall Of Fame
Long overdue, but well deserved, Mike D, MCA and Ad-Rock have been bestowed the highest honor. The Beastie Boys‘ contribution to both Hip Hop is well documented, giving us Rap’s first ever #1 Album, with License to Ill.
The Rap trio from Los Angeles were intricate in bridging the gaps between Rap and Rock, as well as breaking cultural/racial barriers. This is a great accomplishment for the both the group, and the entire Hip Hop Culture. Jump to MTV for the full story.
