Pharrell Williams & Hans Zimmer Hired As Music Consultant For The 2012 Academy Awards
The boy Pha-real has done it again.
This time the VA super-producer has been taped to work on the 2012 Academy Awards as a music consultant.
The Neptunes frontman will be working alongside Oscar winning composer Hans Zimmer to supervise the award show.
This marks the first time both will be working the Academy Awards and according to Deadline.com, Oscarcast producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer were looking for an opportunity to inject music into the program that touches on Zimmer’s classical flair, and the hip hop, R&B and pop sensibilities that Williams is known for.
