Summer time is supposed to be mean trips to the beach, BBQs, picnics and general fun for kids. But in the hood, it also means ducking bullets. Way too many children have been shot this summer. Just a couple of days ago, 4-year-old Lloyd Morgan was laid to rest after being killed when he was shot in the head by a stray bullet at a basketball game in the Bronx. And Chicago has been a straight up shooting gallery lately. With that in mind, André LeRoy Davis aka A.L. Dre uses his latest The Last Word illustration to comment on the current case of summer madness across the nation.
