Curren$y, the creator of the Fly Society and  the ex-Young Money affiliate, is continuing a steady buzz on the underground music scene. After recently dropping his How Fly mixtape with Whiz Khalifa, he’s looking to expand his growing tracklist further with impending projects.

Continuing on that path, his plans for the upcoming new year include working on material with his newly formed supergroup.

Consisting of  himself, Mos Def, and Jay Electronica, the group is known as ‘Center Edge Territory.’ The trio agreed to team up for collabos this year after a chance meeting at ex-Rocafella co-C.E.O., Dame Dash’s studio.

Speaking on the ‘Center Edge’ formation, Spitta told OneNeckTwo Chains.com that while the group will team up for songs, no album will be released. He clarified the supergroup’s situation saying,

“We got some songs. We’re not gonna put out an album, It’s just gonna be assaults, just whenever we feel like it.”

He made sure to mention however that the group’s purpose was not to supply music for capital, instead their main objective is to “kill wack people.”

“It’s not even an attack for checks. It’s not even a money thing. That’s just to kill wack people. That’s all that’s for. So we’re just gonna throw that out when it gets too wack.”

Look for a collaboration with Curren$y, Mos Def and Jay Electronica coming soon or hell, I guess whenever they feel like it.
