Aretha Franklin Says Her Surgery Was “Highly Successful”
After canceling all tour dates and live appearances, Aretha Franklin proudly reports that her surgery was highly successful, and is grateful to supporters for keeping her in her prayers.
Thursday she released a statement via The Associated Press stating,
“God is still in control. I had superb doctors and nurses whom were blessed by all the prayers of the city and the country.”
The singer did not say what she was being treated for during the surgery.
