We all know that Kanye West is an artsy fartsy kind of guy. So we’re quite sure that he was enthralled with his Vogue feature alongside Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci. If the name Riccardo Tisci rings a bell, it’s probably because of the album artwork he completed for Kanye West and Jay-Z’s Watch The Throne and the single “H.A.M.” The duo of West and Tisci can be seen in the March issue of Vogue as Tisci addresses his work with the tandem known as “The Throne.”

“I was a little bit scared, ” admits Tisci, “Because I’m not an artist or graphic artist.” He finally agreed and was awed when a meeting sequed into a jam session that involved Rihanna, Swizz Beatz and Pharrell Williams, all freely exchanging ideas “like a family giving opinions to each other,” remembers Tisci, “sharing – which is something that fashion is missing,” he adds plaintively.

The photos (clicks #’s below) look like something from Yeezy’s “Power” video, in a classy meets archaic, and creepy, sort of way. More photos below.
