Pepsi is going full-steam ahead in adding more girl power to their forthcoming “Live For Now” global campaign. Last month, Nicki Minaj was announced as the latest celebrity to sign a multi-million dollar deal with the brand, and now Katy Perry has been added to the roster.
Minaj , who recently announced dates for her North American tour, is set to appear in her first Pepsi commercial “Now in the Moment,” next Monday (May 7). The ad will feature a remixed version of her hit “Moment for Life,” and will showcase the colorful visuals fans have come to expect from the 29-year-old. Pepsi will also partner with Perry to promote her upcoming movie Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D, due out July 5.
“Live for Now” reflects a new level of global positioning for Pepsi, and was brought about following extensive research, and connecting with thousands of fans, and will incorporate a social media aspect in an effort to enhance consumer’s musical experience.
