Today is a great day for Air Jordan 3 fans. The much coveted Air Jordan 3 ’88 Retro gets a restock and the Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red” colorway will be dropping in August.
As for the Air Jordan 3 Retro ’88, they will drop on Saturday, May 25 at Footlocker.com and Finishline.com in the “White Cement” colorway (Note: We’re still keeping the faith for a “Black Cement” drop). You already know the story (they’re the shoes Air Jordan took off from the free throw line in to win the 1988 NBA Slam Dunk Contest). The are the closest you will get those shoes (unless you like wearing museum worth pieces) since the “Nike Air” logo replaces the usual “Jumpman” branding. They will be available online only starting at 8 a.m. and will be $200 in adult sizes and $125 if you’re looking out for the little kids in your life.
Now the Air Jordan 3 in the “Fire Red” make up were the only OG version not to get a Retro release in 2011. These will be dropping on August 3, reports Sole Collector, with a full size run and are guaranteed to sell out in the hour despite the $160 price tag. These sport a darker cement print than the other version of the same model and the gray near the laces almost makes them stand out.
