Kanye West Gives Surprise Speech At Harvard & Free Concert Tickets

Kanye West is on a mission to change the culture one day at a time. In fact, the MC surprised Harvard Graduate School Of Design by appearing to give an impromptu speech Sunday afternoon.

Yes, West, the same artist whose first three albums were scholastically-themed, ensured that class was in session for a room of excited students. The speaking engagement was on behalf of his creative agency DONDA, as he was accompanied by creative director Virgil Abloh and his fiancee Kim Kardashian.

West’s message was simple: “I really do believe that the world can be saved through design, and everything needs to actually be “architected [sic].'”

He later continued, “I believe that utopia is actually possible — but we’re led by the least noble, the least dignified, the least tasteful, the dumbest, and the most political. So in no way am I a politician — I’m usually at my best politically incorrect and very direct. I really appreciate you guys’ willingness to learn and hone your craft, and not be lazy about creation.”

The G.O.O.D. Music frontman also did the class a solid by providing those present with free tickets for the Yeezus tour show that followed.
