Fans of Rita Ora should be delighted–and intrigued to know that her next on-screen appearance will be in the erotica thriller, Fifty Shades of Grey.
An ecstatic Rita Ora announced her Twitter page that she had been cast as Mia Grey, the lead character, Cristian Grey’s adopted sister. “It’s official! I’ve been cast in @FiftyShades of Grey as Christian’s sister Mia. #FiftyShades,” was the announcement she wrote which has since been deleted.
The NC-17 novel written by E.L. James is was transformed into a motion picture after it became the fastest-selling paperback of all-time, with over 90 million copies sold. Ora’s character is a pre-teen in the books so audiences shouldn’t expect her to get too risqué, but you never know when it comes to film adapations.
The movie is set to hit theaters in 2015, reports USA TODAY. The payday should be welcomed seeing that she’s now technically “homeless” after being booted from her flat (that’s apartment to you, Yankees) in West London.
The singer dates DJ Calvin Harris and the pair reportedly like to party without regard to their neighbors.

The ‘R.I.P’ singer , who was renting a luxury west London apartment, has been asked to find a new place to live after a number of complaints about noisy late night parties.
A source told The Sun newspaper: ”Rita is on the move after some complaints about noise in her last place. ”She has already been looking at houses and wants to buy a proper home for the first time. ”She thinks a new home would be the perfect way to celebrate such a successful year.”
The singer, who is dating DJ Calvin Harris, was threatened with eviction recently after ignoring warnings from her landlord. A source said: ”Rita has been told about the noise before but she ignored it and now the landlord says she has to go.
This isn’t the first time she’s been threatened with eviction but it’s much more serious now.
Rita lives in a nice building with a lot of older neighbours who aren’t happy with her.
