Seriously, who doesn’t want a good Godzilla movie to flourish? Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures are delivering an all new Godzilla flick in 2014 and here we have the first official teaser trailer.

Some quick details:

An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Gareth Edwards directs “Godzilla,” which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Kick-Ass”), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (“The Last Samurai,” “Inception”), Elizabeth Olsen (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (“The English Patient,” “Cosmopolis”), and Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck.,” “The Bourne Legacy”) and Bryan Cranston (“Argo,” TV’s “Breaking Bad”).

As for the trailer, look out for the big guy near the conclusion after watching paratroopers diving into battle, a train you don’t want to be in getting smashed and a building with a very big hole in it, among other there is a enormous monster out there reactions. Also, it seems they got the classic Godzilla roar vocal sound effect right.

Godzilla is in theaters May 16, 2014. Watch the official teaser trailer below.
