Vans Vault struck gold with a Star Wars collection earlier this year, but it appears that the brand isn’t done reimagining George Lucas’ legendary film franchise into proper footwear. Yesterday (May 30), Vans Classics unveiled a spring/summer 2014 collection.
Three iconic silhouettes — the Era, Slip-On, and Sk8-Hi — feature designs that are very fitting for the season in some cases. Never before has “Yoda” been seen amidst Hawaiian floral print. But that’s the beauty of the collection. While longtime Star Wars fans are sure to embrace the release, there’s still a fashionable aspect for those who simply want to purchase the kicks for aesthetic purposes.
