High scoring New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony celebrated his 30th birthday in style on Monday night (June 2). Besides a number of celebrities coming through a Manhattan nightspot to wish him well, Queens rapper Nas performed.

Carmelo Anthony celebrated his 30th birthday with friends including J.R. Smith at a dinner at The Nomad Hotel on Monday.
The group later headed to Meatpacking club Up & Down, where Swizz Beatz DJ’d and guests included Alicia Keys, Chris Rock, Ciara, Jenna Lyons and models Jessica Stam, Tyson Beckford and Julie Henderson.
Rapper Nas performed a set from his classic “Illmatic” and Busta Rhymes also got on the mike.
Anthony, with wife La La, was seen puffing a stogie while wearing what looked like a “Heisenberg hat” from “Breaking Bad.”
Also, Melo was rocking some mean, all-red Nike Air Jordan 11s.
