On his promo run, Jeezy stopped by Hot 97 to speak on his deal with Avion tequila, rappers who glorify a life of crime, Jay Z’s sentimental moment while recording his “Seen It All” verse, theĀ alleged “fight” with his teenaged son and much more.

Surrounded by Ebro, Miss Info and Laura Stylez, the ATL representer inevitably addressed the Freddie Gibbs beef, offering his side of the story and making clear heĀ still respects his colleague. Aside from touching on the monotonous topic of the Illuminati, Jeezy also compared himself to Tupac Shakur, referring to himself as “revolutionary.”

Tequila

Jeezy likes Tequila so much, he inked his own deal with Avion, whose bottle is custom designed by the rapper himself. But before you go run out and buy a bottle, know his batches are limited to 800 per year.

Real Gangsters

According to Jeezy, real gangsters don’t listen to rap music. In fact, they’re instead listening to love songs and R&B, trying to grow up, fall in love, start a family and whatnot.

No Halfway Crooks

Jeezy makes clear he actually once lived the life that so many of today’s rappers only rap about and, in turn, glorifying drugs and the trap life.

2Pac

No one in the game has Jeezy’s credentials. As far as he’s concerned, the only rapper of his caliber, is the late Tupac Shakur. “Me and Pac was more so on some revolutionary leadership,” explained Jeezy. “We always on the ground level, trying to inspire and motivate the people.”

Traumatized

After comparing himself to 2Pac, Jeezy went on to admit that he’s been mentally traumatized by what he’s experienced coming from the streets.

Tough Love

The ATL rapper touched on the controversial brawl he allegedly got into with his son, delving into the time gap between the two. In bringing his son home, the teenager was exposed to a lifestyle different from when he’s with his mother. Things like house chores, according to Jeezy, were a requirement.

Freddie Gibbs

In addressing the beef between the two rappers, Jeezy shared his side of the story, where he revealed it was a business relationship gone sour, ultimately costing Jeezy lots of money due to Freddie’s inconsistencies.
