Earlier today, we reported about Da Band singer Sara Stokes from the MTV reality series, Making The Band 2 and her struggles with the law. We haven’t heard much from Stokes or the rest of Da Band after their 2003 debut, Too Hot For TV.
Although Da Band was broken up by Puff Daddy shortly after their debut, some of the members tried to keep the buzz going. The trouble is, locating the activities of Da Band is more difficult than walking to Junior’s in Brooklyn to get a cheesecake. Thanks to social media, we’re able to at least get some insight on Da Band – and apparently they keep up with one another too.

Although Dylan was parodied heavy by Dave Chappelle in a now infamous skit, the New York by way of Grenada artist seems to be doing alright for himself. With a studio business, videos and an active IG account, Dylan Dili has kept the flame burning.
Bonus note: It looks like Da Band were going to have a reunion of sorts this fall according to this post from Dylan.

Well, it appeared that Stokes has been keeping her name afloat in appearances and hanging around in the biz. But there’s also that legal struggle we mentioned earlier.

Freddy P’s Twitter bio states that he “went from Making DA BAND to making the bands” and he’s been keeping busy with the music as well. His IG is full of his exploits, motivational quotes and other things.
Chopper

Chopper has moved from New Orleans to Las Vegas and has a new project in the works set to drop this month. With almost a half million followers on Twitter, long gone are the days of that struggle suit he wore. His new album, The Butterfly Effect, drops August 28.
Ness

The Philly soldier and self-proclaimed “#KingOfBattleRap” has been dropping mixtapes here and there since his TV days. His latest video, “My Chopper,” features some menacing bars as to be expected.
Babs

Babs, also known as Babs Bunny, has been involved in the growing Queen Of The Ring battle rap league. No word if she’s still got bars, but she and Ness were the only holdovers that Puff dealt with after Da Band was broken apart.
