The Oscar Pistorius verdict is in and naturally, nobody is happy.
Judge Thokozile Matilda Masipa concluded that there just “wasn’t enough evidence” to convict the Paralympic athlete of first-degree murder as he was handed a not-guilty verdict earlier today, September 11.
Pistorius was accused of killing his 29-year-old model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day of last year. He has maintained that he mistook her for an intruder; a claim that obviously the jury believed.
On the flipside, plenty of Twitter pundits reacted to the ruling enraged and even responded to Pistorius’ account directly.
Check out the most radioactive reactions to the Oscar Pistorius verdict below. He’s lucky they were not his “peers.”
