After appearing at Elle magazine’s Women in Hollywood Awards in Beverly Hills earlier this week, actress Renee Zellweger was a trending topic for all the wrong reasons. Her strikingly different appearance sparked rumors of plastic surgery with some barely recognizing her.

She attributed the difference to living healthy, but Zellweger isn’t the first celebrity the public has claimed is unrecognizable after leveling rumors of going under the knife. Renee Zellweger’s eyes, forehead and cheeks certainly look different. While there was no mention of an alleged plastic surgery, she told People magazine, “I’m glad folks think I look different! I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows.”
