Closing out the week once again, yours truly provides a list of dope tracks in The Wrap Up: Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Songs Of The Week.

A compilation of the dominant beats and rhymes (by our standards) over the past seven days, the selected tracks should be more than enough to inspire a few head nods and toe taps. The bars are mean and vicious, too, in case anyone was wondering.

Hit the jump to hear The Wrap Up.

10. Slaughterhouse – “Y’all Ready Know”

Producer: DJ Premier

Per usual, the lyirical foursome spare no prisoners as they wax dexterous poetics. Rappers, tuck in ya chains.

9. Domo Genesis ft. IamSu! – “Go Outside”

Producer: SAP

Dropping one of the better projects this week, Domo comes with his best bars in tow alongside Bay Area rapper IamSu!.

8. Dave East ft. Emilio Rojas & Jazzy Amra – “Make It Out”

Producer: Buda Da Future & Grandz Muzik

East and Rojas spit vivid rhymes detailing their personal struggles, leaving some optimism for listeners going through similar circumstances. Who can be mad at that?

7. Migos – “Move”

Producer: Zaytoven

Say what you want, but this writer will be reveling in the trap goodness that is Migos for the foreseeable future.

6. Rockie Fresh – “I Need”

Producer: Peezy

The Chicago rapper gets some things off of his chest backed by production sampling Maverick Sabre’s identically titled jam. Pain and anguish raps usually sound damn good.

5. Ransom ft. Freddie Gibbs – “Demise”

Producer: N/A

Nothing but bars live in Ransom and Gangsta Gibbs’ house of rhymes.

4. Ludacris ft. Miguel – “Good Lovin'”

Producer: Da Internz

Luda back? Maybe that’s taking it a bit far, but he’s definitely heading in the right direction with this smooth, Miguel-assisted record.

3. Wu-Tang Clan – “Ruckus in B Minor”

Producer: RZA

Aside from being cleverly titled, The Wu’s latest drop features a meticulous display of lyricism from the veteran collective.

2. The LOX – “Let’s Get It”

Producer: Buda Da Future

Bars from the L-O-X spitters are the equivalent to a spiked bat to the chest. And in this context, that’s completely fine.

1. Earl Sweatshirt – “45”

Producer: The Alchemist

Sweatshirt’s wordplay and cadence is absolutely stupendous on this Alchemist-produced cut.
