While Derrick Rose gets his tender ankles in order, adidas Basketball officially unveiled a pair of colorways—Chicago Ice and Woven Blues—of the Chicago Bulls point guard’s D Rose 5 Boost signature sneakers you should check for. Both are homages to Rose’s hometown of Chicago.
The D Rose 5 Boost offers full shoe length Boost cushioning technology designed for maximum energy return and comfort. A bunch of home and aways colorways have been revealed but the Chicago Ice and Woven Blue easily look the best with the former being an homage to Lake Michigan while the latter is a nod to the Blues and Chicago Jazz.
The “Chicago Ice” D Rose 5 Boost will be at adidas retailers and Foot Locker on November 24 and the “Woven Blues” will be out two days later. Check out detailed photos of both colorways and more below and on the following pages.
