As one of the most successful songwriters in Hip-Hop, The-Dream has been noticeably quiet for the last couple of years. He discusses this and more during his recent visit to The Breakfast Club.
After penning hits for Beyonce, Rihanna and other high profile artists, The-Dream was on a ride like no other. But suddenly his name became more known for his alleged indiscretions with assistants, studio singers and thots alike.
DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God took him to task with questions surrounding Lil’ Wayne, Christina Milian, marriage, his new album and more.

1. Married?
The-Dream is indeed married for a third time and says that this time it’s real love.
2. Quietstorm
When asked about why he has been quiet he said when he left Def Jam Records there was a stipulation in his contract that he could not resign with another label for a set period of time.
3. Christina
He still believes that his ex-wife Christina Milian has the right music in place for a serious comeback. #NeedMorePeople
4. Grammy Awards
Just like many others he believes Beyonce should have won album of the year. When asked why he was not surprised he said “it’s their event.”
5. Warrants
A couple of years ago the police had a warrant for his arrest with allegations of domestic abuse. While he did not directly comment not he situation, The-Dream made it clear the charges were not going to hold up.
6. Publishing
The-Dream once had a shady publishing deal where he was only getting paid 30,000 thousand dollars a year to write songs for B2K and other artists. Thankfully he worked hard and was able to get out of the deal.
7. Wayne
The-Dream has spoken to Lil’ Wayne about having the same taste in women. Wayne actually called Dream as a courtesy to date Christina Milian.
8. Baby Mother Payroll
He has publishing portions assigned to Christina Milian so his kids will always be financially secure. His other baby mothers are also “over paid.”
9. R&B
The-Dream thinks the genre of R&B is getting to a better place in terms of quality writing and not celebrating ignorance.
10. Tyga
He wouldn’t mind if an older guy was dating his daughter as long as it was legal which seems to be a very hot topic after Tyga and Kylie Jenner have been spotted together so many times.
