Chanel West Coast, the struggle rapper on Young Money and MTV’s Ridiculousness with Rob Dyrdek, got arrested at a Hollywood club last night for fighting, and then attacking a cop.
First off, the fact that she kicked an officer and didn’t get brutalized as a result, is a good thing . Ms. West Coast apparently got into an altercation with some “haters” at 1 Oak nightclub and and got apprehended for going crazy on the cop, instead of just leaving.
Had she not kicked and punched him, the officer says she probably wouldn’t have be cuffed up, but instead she was left sitting in front of a parking sign trying to explain herself in front of the cops, paparazzi, and onlookers.
One of her friends tries to help out by yelling that Chanel wasn’t read her Miranda Rights, and therefore can’t get arrested. Meanwhile, the cops didn’t bother to entertain the friend, even as she yells that the situation is “bullsh*t.”
Chanel tries to wiggle her way out of the arrest, by informing the police that she’s been on television for “17 years.” They don’t seem to care.
Tough luck.
