Jidenna is out here proving he’s much more than just a dandily dressed R&B singer. Janelle Monae’s marquee artist drops a video for “Knickers,” a song full of social commentary, on the not so low.
Benny Boom directed the visual that’s heavy on dancing and style before Jidenna and his peeps make a clean getaway from the cops.
As for the lyrics, replace “Knickers” with the N-word and you’ll understand what he’s getting at.
