In case you haven’t heard, N.O.R.E. is now officially going by P.A.P.I. The Queens rapper drops a new tune under his new moniker called “Tadow” featuring French Montana, Pusha T and 2 Chainz. He also has another record called “Built Pyramids” featuring the Large Professor.
On “Tadow,” French handles the hook while the Hair Weave Killa and Push A Ton handle the second and third verse, respectively, over the Illa Da Producer & Infa Red Black Ops produced beat. The video was shot late last year and is supposed to premiere on MTV Jams today (January 7).
Another new cut is called “Built Pyramids” and is produced by Hip-Hoplegend and fellow Queens representative the Large Professor. Large Pro handles the chorus as P.A.P.I. (short for Power Always Proves Intelligence) reminisces about his Q-Boro upbringing.
Both songs are set to appear on Jose Luis Gotcha’s forthcoming Student Of The Game mixtape.
Listen to “Tadow” below and peep “Built Pyramids” on the next page. Hip-Hop purists will dig the latter, while the former is clearly for more mainstream rap tastes.
