What Diddy gets, Diddy wants, even if it’s an expensive mansion being sought after by a member of Hollywood’s elite. The Hip-Hop mogul is eyeing the same home as that of producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

According to TMZ, the father of six took a tour of the 19, 590 square-foot location originally owned by Columbia Pictures founder, Harry Cohn, and was interested in submiting an offer. The only problem is, Bruckheimer is already scheduled to close on the property on Jan. 17, but Diddy may stop the proceedings if he decides that he wants the house.

Even with a net worth ranging in the hundreds of millions, the Harlem native isn’t looking to go for broke on a new residence, add wants to drop around $15 million on a new purchase. In the meantime he’s been looking at a bunch of palatial pads, including a $19 million 10-bedroom,11-bathroom $19 million Bel-Air estate.

Real estate sources told the site that Diddy may pass on the Cohn home, despite touring the property last week, due to the hefty price tag–even though he can afford it. Nonetheless, it has yet to be confirmed that he has decided not to make an offer on the seven-bedroom property, which includes a media room, sauna, and staff quarters, in addition to a host of other amenities.

Built in 1927, and designed by Robert D. Farquhar, the home retains much of its vintage charm, set-off by a black-and-white checkered entry-way.

Diddy routinely finds himself on Forbes magazine lists, but as it turns out,  his fortune pales in comparison to Bruckheimer. The lauded produce, noted for several box-office  blockbusters like the Pirates of the Carribean franchise, is worth $850 million.
