Lil Wayne’s anti-Miami rant that took place has rubbed many of the city’s rap luminaries the wrong way including Uncle Luke and now Trick Daddy.

The mayor of the 305 spoke to 99 Jamz in Miami to stick up for his city and call for more unity from native Floridians. This comes in wake of Weezy exclaiming that he slept with the wife of Heat forward, Chris Bosh, and repeatedly screaming “f**k the Miami Heat.”

“If nobody likes it, they can die tonight. I don’t care who gets offended by what I say, I rep my city and I don’t care who disrespects it. When they lease is up, they can leave,” said the Miami rep. “We have to stick together as radio, as artists, as DJs and as fans of the music as a whole.”

Luther Campbell originally spoke out against Wayne’s comments and called for local Miami artists and DJs to take a stand against people talking ill of their city. Trick echoed his statements.

“Me and Luke been talking and we’re going to get together and figure out some type of way to get this thing back on the road. We’re going to get songs that need to get played on the radio and get played in the clubs,” says the Slip-N-Slide founder. “We came up in a city, that we lived through three, four or five hurricanes and two major riots. I can’t go nowhere else, this my home.”
