You can consider Pitbull to be an expert on all things Cuba. The Miami rapper dropped his own freestyle take on Jay-Z’s much discussed new song, “Open Letter.” Pit uses his version to drop some Cuban history, good and bad, and to comment on the political chit chatter Hova and Beyoncé’s wedding anniversary trip has caused.

“I’m cuban american i was born politically incorrect here is my open letter daleee,” tweeted the “Feel This Moment” rapper when he posted the song yesterday (April 14).

You’ll have to go elsewhere if you’re looking for any Jigga slander, though. “Don’t agree with the chain Castro talk, but it’s hard to understand unless they educate you/Politicians love to hate you/But then run away when it’s time to debate you,” spits Pitbull on the song. “Question of the night, would they have messed with Mr. Carter if he was, white?”

That’s a legit question.

Miami senator, and rap fan when it’s convenient, Marco Rubio is still calling for the White House to explain the trip, despite the Treasury Department approving the couple’s travel. Recently, a FOX news analyst performed an awful freestyle about the trip, too.

Listen to Pitbull try to put all this talk to bed below. Also, be sure to check Common’s version of “Open Letter” right here.
