Last night, VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta returned for its second season, and as promised the f-ckery was all the way turnt up.
K. Michelle stayed delivering threats that didn’t really manifest into anything, while Buckeey, ahem, Shay, is still trying her utmost to get back the very engaged Lil Scrappy. Unfortunately for his fiancee Erica Dixon, it’s apparent that Momma Dee is putting the battery in Shay’s back to get back with the “Money In The Bank” rapper.
But the clear star of the season premiere was the self-described Puerto Rican Princess Joseline Hernandez. All night she delivered slander, sharp one-liners and mind-numbing commentary that sometimes required subtitles. Calling someone a maid will be the new trendy insult, trust on this one. Her foil, Mimi Faust, had her own moments, but the whole “I’m finally fed up with Stevie J” shtick is kind of played out since she basically says that on every episode.
All that happened, and we didn’t even get to Rasheeda, and some of the new cast members.

Joseline Hernandez thinks referring to people as a “maid” or “the help” is an insult. We ain’t knocking anyone’s hustle, though.
Ball On A Budget, Scrap
Scrappy spends a lot of gear on clothes. Like his baby mama, Erica Dixon, suggests, he may want to slow down considering his wages are getting garnished. Just saying.
Put A Ring On It
Erica Dixon get her engagement ring appraised and it came back at about $20K. Considering Scrappy’s aforementioned alleged financial problems, she may want to keep that on her at all times.
Crazy In Love
K. Michelle still possesses a mean crazy eye. No shots. But at least she made up with Ariane, who tapped K’s ex alleged woman-beater on the not so low low.
Margaritaville
Also, don’t try to stop K. Michelle from yapping after she got some margaritas in her system. Write that down.
Mimi Goes Postal
Feeling that Stevie J didn’t do enough after witnessing the slander Joseline sent her way (“Hey maid.”), Mimi barked on the producer. She even tried to bite homie! Yeah, we caught that.
Jail Bound
This actually happened this morning, but it’s still something we learned. Lil Scrappy is going to jail. The struggle is very real, but at least he won’t need to spend money on clothes. Silver linings.
