We here at Hip-Hop Wired have been secret admirers of a certain Destiny’s Child member for some time now. Assuming that we were referencing Beyoncé would be totally warranted, but albeit very wrong. Our eyes are on a woman of a darker hue: Kelly Rowland, our latest Bangin’ Candy selection.
At a certain point, it’s about more than a pretty face. Though the Houston native does supply many blessings to our eyes. Having proved herself as more than a DC afterthought, Rowland has grown into one the best things smoking in R&B today.
Yesterday, fans saw Rowland’s artistry come full circle, as she bared her soul and revealed a few skeletons in her closet on a somber track, “Dirty Laundry”. And with her new album, Talk A Good Game, due out on June 18, we thought it appropriate to pay homage to the mocha-complected beauty in the best way we know how.
