Brooklyn wins. Natives of the the New York City borough won’t have to travel as far for their sneaker fix as Foot Locker is opening a House Of Hoops store in Kings County this weekend.
The BK House of Hoops will be located at 408 Fulton Street. The grand opening kicks off Friday, June 14 and will last all weekend with events that include a block party.
Foot Locker comes through with some details:
This Friday, June 14th the new House of Hoops by Foot Locker will celebrate its Grand Opening with sneaker launches and Nike product customizations that will include Elite socks and t-shirts. The new store is located at 408 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11201.
As part of the Grand Opening weekend festivities, Saturday, June 15th, Nike Basketball will host a basketball block party “Brooklyn-style” from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. featuring special appearances (see flyer.) There will be basketball games, product launches and giveaways all day long. The block party will take place on Gallatin Place.

The block party will include pick up basketball games, music by DJ Clark Kent and will be hosted by Miss Info. There will also be Q&As with Spike Lee, Deron Williams of the Brooklyn Nets and more.
