Pete Rock and CL Smooth let the horns blow on their classic track “T.R.O.Y.” at New York City’s Central Park Sunday, July 28. Their performance was one of the highlights during Rock Steady’s 36 Anniversary concert, which banded together a list of notable veteran MCs.
Aside from The Chocolate Boy Wonder and CL, a bevy of artists like Special Ed, Camp Lo, The Beatnuts’ Psycho Les, DMC, Brand Nubian, Cormega, and Craig G. graced the stage.
Yes, you read that right. The event was pretty much a classic Hip-Hop lover’s dream. To top it off, Rock Steady’s Crazy Legs displayed his legendary break dancing abilities alongside a troop of young b-boys and b-girls.
Hats off to Tone Riggz for being on the scene to capture footage.
