In Rap there is a noticeable difference when artists that work together versus having a true chemistry. AZ and Nas have it, Kanye and Jay Z have it as well. A two man team that we always look forward to hearing from is Ghostface Killah and Raekwon.
Collaboratively. R.A.G.U. (Rae & Ghost United) gave us Only Built For Cuban Linx, Ironman, and a host of other classics. Now forward things to present day, we get the aptly titled “Batman And Robin” that hit the Internet earlier today (Sept. 17). This sharp narrative only further proves how hard their Shaolin one-two punch hits.
While the status on a new Wu-Tang Clan album may be in jeopardy, we can still enjoy the plethora of songs P.Tone and the Chef have in the stash.
For your listening pleasure here are the top 10 Ghostface Killah and Raekwon collaborations that didn’t appear on a formal Wu related album. Thank us later.

Jodeci ft. Ghostface Killah & Raekwon – “Freek ‘N You” Remix
When Jodeci hooked up with Ghost and Rae for this remix, the bar for R&B / Rap collaborations was raised substantially.
Ruff Endz ft. Ghostface Killah & Raekwon – “No More” Remix
This one went under a lot of people radars but die hard Wu fans how proper this appearance was.
DJ Clue ft. Raekwon & Ghostface Killah – “C.R.E.A.M. 2001”
While this did not surpass the original “C.R.E.A.M.” (where was Deck though?), you got a taste of what these two had in store for us for the rest of the millennium.
Ghostface Killah ft. Raekwon – “The Watch (Tony For Mayor)”
Ghost and Rae over that Barry White sample is everything. Blame sample clearances for this not making Bulletproof Wallets.

This was another track that got left off the Bulletproof Wallets album. For what reason we don’t know.

Hands down one of the best Tony Starks and Lou Diamonds dual appearances in history.

This playful collaboration with RZA and Slick Rick was another classic from the Bulletproof Wallets era that didn’t make it due to sample clearance issues.
Busta Rhymes ft. Roc Marciano Raekwon & Ghostface Killah – “The Heist”
This forgotten gem from Busta Rhymes’s Anarchy still bangs, shame on ya’ll that aren’t familiar with this. Also, Roc Marci didn’t slack.

After his Firm fiasco, AZ got right by inviting Rae and Ghost to craft an ode to their home state.
